Instructions:
1. Determine the size of your travel journal or notebook.

2. Cut the cardboard boxes.
- Cut two rectangular pieces of cardboard, each slightly larger than the journal's dimensions.
- Cut four rectangular pieces of cardboard, each slightly smaller than the journal's dimensions, for the sides.
3. Assemble the frame.
- Lay the two larger cardboard pieces side by side, with the edges aligned.
- Use glue or adhesive to attach them securely.
- Cut the edges of the two larger pieces to create the frame.
4. Attach the sides to the frame.
- Lay the two smaller cardboard pieces on top of the frame, with the edges aligned.
- Use glue or adhesive to attach them securely.
5. Decorate (optional).
- Once the frame is assembled, you can decorate it with paint, markers, or stickers.
- You can also add embellishments such as buttons, zippers, or lace.
6. Add the cover.
- Cut a piece of cardboard that is slightly larger than the journal's dimensions.
- Fold the edges of the cardboard inwards and glue or adhesive them to the front of the frame.
- Trim the edges to create a clean look.
7. Add the interior dividers.
- Cut four pieces of cardboard that are slightly larger than the inside dimensions of the journal.
- Fold the edges of the cardboard inwards and glue or adhesive them to the inside of the frame.
- Cut a piece of felt or other padding material to fit inside the frame.
8. Assemble the interior.
- Lay the interior pieces inside the frame, starting with the back panel.
- Secure the panels together with glue or adhesive.
- Add any additional padding or dividers as needed.
9. Add the handle.
- Cut a piece of rope or twine that is long enough to tie around the top of the frame.
- Attach the handle to the top of the frame with a knot or zip.
10. Test and adjust.
- Open the travel journal and make sure it fits comfortably inside the frame.
- Adjust the size and position of the frame and interior pieces as needed.
